Oh my gosh! I'm sorry I haven't been able to read your work yet! DX I've been swamped with homework this whole week. Sorry guys! I promise to get to it as soon as I possibly can. Thank you for being patient with me :)

I feel bad asking, because i realize this is the creative writing forum, but i have an essay on a thread of the nonfiction forum. its called something like "Does thismake sense," and etc. but i totally get it if you think government and real writing is boring, however essays like that are exactly what english teachers grade 90% of the time, not fictional stories that are half way entertaining. anyway that'd be great...just look for apollo77 on nonfiction workshop! thanks

O_O *faints* *wakes up* Okay, hold on. Let me breathe. *breathes* I apparently owe A LOT of people reviews. I will do my best to start reading, rating, and critiquing tonight. I myself have an English essay due tomorrow, and my essay just doesn't want to be written.

Yes, Apollo77, I realize that teachers will edit nonfiction work more than short stories. However, this was mainly made so I could get used to reading different writing styles. I'll do my best to get to your writing.

NOTICE: Once I finish editing the pieces waiting for me, this thread will be CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Hello, lovely Inkies. Did you miss me? ^_^

*sighs* My senior year of high school will be here in September, and I'm feeling old. But it's summer now, and summer means that I have quite a bit of free time on my hands. Which is why I chose to reopen my Free Feedback thread. I still have the dream of becoming an English teacher (maybe even an author), and I realized that my editing skills have become a bit rusty, so I figured this lovely thread is a great way to get back into editing properly.

The thread will be run the same way as when I first made it almost a year ago (I think it was a year ago). If anyone wants feedback on their writing, all they have to do is leave a comment here telling me what they'd like to have reviewed and I will happily comply. For now I'm just gonna be offering feedback on poetry and short stories. However, once I'm feeling comfortable and confident, I might open this up for novel reviews. Not the whole novel though, maybe just the first chapter to start out.

Just two little things I'd like to add so that everything is clear:

1) I will read, rate, and comment on what each person asks me to check out. My ratings will reflect my personal opinion on the writing.
2) I don't want to call myself a harsh editor, but I can get a bit nitpicky. I have a history of picking out spelling/grammatical errors, problems with verb usage/tenses, etc., etc. I just want to clarify that so that no one feels as if I'm victimizing them. That's just how I edit.

Alrighty, I believe I've mentioned everything necessary. So now it is my extreme pleasure to announce that this free feedback thread is officially reopened :D  If anyone has any questions, I will happily answer them :)

A million apologies for the late reply. Anywho, I'd be delighted to check out your poem; it'll be the first thing I read in the morning. I'm a little overwhelmed with homework at the moment, so I'm sorry I can't get to it right now. But I promise to read, rate, and comment/edit first thing tomorrow morning ^_^

Hey, I'd really appreciate any criticism you can give, so feel free to have a look at what you want, but I'd really like criticisms on either "Belly Of The Beast" or "Killer Attitude". Thanks :)

If you could take a look at 1 chapter from one of my novels, I'd appreciate it (I won't expect you to read the whole thing because they're all really long).

As much as I'd love to, I did specify in my return post that I am not offering feedback on novels just yet. However, I'd be more than happy to check out any short stories or poems of yours :)

Thanks, that was a great critique, I'd really appreciate any other criticisms that you can give if you want to swap feedback for feedback :D
