I always find that if I look around at whatever, something inspires me to write.
But I am kind of the same.
I can only write good when I'm in the mood.
I can't write well if I don't feel like it.

Try reading stories or watching TV. Sometimes I get an idea from something else, but I always change it so that it doesn't look like I plagerized (did i spell that rite?)
And... *clears throat* care to check out my stuff?

Another thing that I would suggest-
I listen to music and try to get myself in the mood for something that I want to write. Let's say I wanted to write something really sad, I'd listen to a really sad song.
Also, I found out that if I looked at magazines or pictures, I can formulate an entire story off of a simple picture, or about the person in the picture, depending on what the picture shows me.
Hope that helps.
p.s.- Isn't writers block so annoying!!!

Think of the freakiest dream you've ever had, then take that horrified emotion and pour it into your writing. Describe the pounding in your head, the feeling that there is no escape, the darkness that seems to close in on you. Then try adding a story to it. That's what I do when I can't think of anything to write and it always works for me! Good luck!

Oh...I love romance! Okay, a boy leaves a girl...she decides to move on and not ruin her life I over him, or vic versa. ---A girl is sad when her boyfriend moves away, she leaves a note for him to read about how she really feels, he comes back when he reads it and they live happily ever after...If you want more let me know!:)
