Hey, I thought I'd share a short poem in which I received gold (first place) in a contest in... The prompt was escape :) I hope you enjoy it...
 
Escape my mind and protect my soul, 
Save me before I loose control.
Capture my thoughts, don't let them go, 
After my tears have started to flow.
Perhaps, maybe now I can be finally free
Even though my horrors will catch up with me.
