Topic: Sexuality
Hide and Seek
Sometimes its easy to forget
Even for just a moment
That your hiding, that this isnt really you
You still do all of the same things that you used to do
But instead of flirting with Bobby and wondering just why it is your friends are so jealous, its not like hes even cute.....
Youre busy trying not to look at or talk to or even breathe near Kelly or Jessica or Brandy because everytime you glance up, its all you can do not to drool theyre gorgeous
Everytime you slip up and your gaze lingers too long, you always get the same playful shove they ask the same joking question, "Stop staring! Are you gay or something??"
But they know and you know that the question is an accusation hidden within a joke by the suspicions theyve always had.
So you hide further within your mind, push those thoughts to the back of it and quickly change the topic to makeup or hair or boys
The more they seek the harder you hide within yourself, hide your feelings and hide yourself...
The one that you arent allowed to be...
But who makes you hide?
Hide and Seek
It never ends
Why do you hunt me down?
I thought we were friends
I thought we were cool
But I guess it cant be
Being gay shouldnt change how you feel about me
Being gay shouldnt change how I feel about me

Colors
Dare to be Different
Dare to live Free
Dont believe what they say about you and me
That were lazy
That were stupid
That were not good enough for anything
But winning a basketball game now and then
Thats not true and you know so
I know so and youre scared
Youre shaking in your boots
Because one day when you work for me
The entire world will see
Just how beautiful colors can be
