i see my reflection
i hold your hand
i feel that connection
when you kiss my lips
your driving me wild

when you laugh
i have to laugh too
when you tickle me
i squeal and run from you
when you held me in your arms for the first time
it felt so amazing
when you whispered to me
the words i love you forever
i felt safe for the first time
but also so afraid
because i didnt know
what love means
till you showed me.
 
springtime came
had been seven months
and i stood and waited
in front of my house
and you walked up
and took me by the hand
your parents were there
we got into the car
you told me the words
"i'll always be here."
 
then the fall out came
like it always does
the one that stirs things up
the time when love pulls apart
the tragic goodbye
the braking of hearts
the unending tears
the pain and regrets
a fight on the phone
a cold hang up
hearts turn to stone
love brakes down
your hand ripped from mine
your angry last goodbye
my cold "okay fine"
your eyes burning into mine
the chill as i turned and walked away
that was the day...love flew away
no more "i love yous"
no forever and ever
