I would like you to leave your opinion on pit bulls below. I am currently doing a project on pit bulls that includes the thoughts of the public, not just my biased opinion. Thank you for the help. Also, please leave any facts that you think are reliable. I will also do other reasearch of course, but I want the opinions of people besides those from "Fully equipped, informed websites". Thanks again!

i don't think pit bulls are a bad breed, they just have a negative reputation. i've been around several pitbulls in my lifetime and i wasn't scared because they were pit bull, i was scared because they were huge, lol!!!!! any dog can be dangerous and intimidating, it just dpends on the dog.

it seems that a lot of people don't like pit bulls because there "vicious" and are always attacking people.. it's not the breed, it's really how you raise it. if it's raised to fight and be mean, the  that's what it's gunna do.. several pit bulls that I know are very friendly because they were treated right

I never had a very good impression from pit bulls. Down the street there are a few pit bulls, and they don't seem very friendly. Their owners have no control over them whatsoever. Not to say that there aren't sweet and nice pit bulls, it's not their fault they are stereotyped all the time. So, in conclusion, the personality of a pit bull has a wide range, like humans.

The problem with society is that they believe that they are bad animals. All kinds of animals were born with being vicious. They are just seen as bad because they have a lot of strenght.

They are beautiful, loving dogs that have a bad rep

My cousin has a black-and-white pit bull named Max.  I love him!!  I can't be around him often because I'm allergic to dogs, but he's a big puppy who loves attention.  He's never been aggressive and is just the cutest thing ever.  They also have a newborn daughter, and Max is great around her too.  From my experience, pits are just a misunderstood breed.

to add to wht WriterHead was saying, it is not jus the dog but the owner and trainer and how they treat their pit as a puppy and throughout its entire life.... my older "sister" has a Pit and tht beautiful baby is 200 lb boy and he was abused for the first 3 years of his life by his pervious owners (he was a fight dog tht had been left to die in a ditch) but Yeo (pronounced Yay-o) has bitten me once.
reason y: i was lovin on him then i stopped to grab my drink and he nipped my chin, crawled into my lap and began lickin me 2 death until i began kissin his head and rubbin his belly and tht is my Pit story
