Would you die for someone you love? Your beliefs? To save another? Or nothing? Just curious
I would die for my beliefs, for another person, for my country.
If you really feel strongly for something or someone you are ready to die for it/him/her. Love is when you are really to die for something/one. If you aren't then you are full heartedly loving said ideal/person and if you don't full heartedly love then is it really love that you feel?
I'd say no, it's a strong feeling of like yes, but not love, love you are willing to do anything for that person not to make them happy, but to make them a better person, to help them, to guide them, to be there for them, etc. etc.
That's how I feel about it anyway. Sorry about any misspellinga dn such in my post.
I agree with you completely. I was inspired for this post because I read a quote of Martin Luther King's in class that said, "A man who won't die for something is not fit to live." Lol I thought I'd see what people are willing to defend with their lives! Thanks for responding:)
Well if you aren't willing to die for something, if you don't believe in something that strongly or don't love someone that strongly is there any drive to live? I mean what do you live for if you don't love anyone or believe in anything? Love and beliefs are what drives people to live, to fight, to do anything really. I dunno that's just mroe of my opinion.
Anyways, you're welcome for responding.
Aww that's so cute:) lol. That's some strong love there!
I would die for my sister, many of my friends, and my beliefs (freedom, mainly). I have a strong will to live, and enjoy life, but I would be willing to die for others. I would love to be a volunteer first-responder one day.
That's a very courageous, selfless dream:). I myself would like to be a secret-agent-slash-ninja someday, but that's beside the point and not likely to happen... I agree with you, I would die for my friends and family, or an innocent person who needs a voice in the face of danger... But I also have a strong desire to live a long, peaceful life. Thanks for your response! :)
i would die for anyone even my worst enemy because i know that i would want them to do the same thing if i was about to be killed. Bible says to love your enemy. that's one of the hardest things to do :)
Shalom Alechiem!
I would die for my best friend j ...I love him to bits :)
Haha, that's sweet. Why r u up so early?!
who me? ...cuz imI'm at the hospital :P
it's not me this time..it's my little bro he real sick we been here since yesterday at 9 am ...hoping to go home today, but probly not...that and I'm often up at that hour anyway :P
Aww, I'm sorry your brother's in the hospital.
I hope Jesses Angel watches out for him :P
I'd die if it was convenient. My dad's uncle killed himself when he found out he was terminally ill because he didn't want his family to have to pay medical bills. That kind of boring, practical thing.
I would die for my family.
I would die for my beliefs.
And frankly, i would die if it meant that I wouldn't be a burden to others.
I would die for anything and/or anyone as long as I believed in it and made a life better because of it.
Ooh, bold :).
I would die protecting a child, or someone who couldn't protect themselves.... I don't think I'd die to relieve a burden on others (if by that you mean suicide..) because when I have kids someday and they get sick, I don't want them to think they need to die to save me a little extra money. I'd want them to know that their life means more to me than money. But that's just my opinion, of course :P
@FlannelSkin that seems very noble of your dad's uncle
