@ball of sunshin3, you're right. bullies are hurting just as much as the victims. that's why bullying needs ot be adressed, everyone included in the situation sufferes in some way!!
Honestly, I mean, it's tough to deal with but if you do make it out of it alive, you will be a much stronger and better person. I was bullied a great deal all throughout school, and now that I'm in college, I really am grateful for it. It made me figure a lot of things out about myself. As cruel as it may be, I sorted out my priorities, became more of a pacifist, developed an actual sense of humor, and became a much happier individual, all as a direct result of the bullying. I don't want ot say that it toughened me up because it sounds like it desensitiszed me, but yes, it toughened me up in that I no longer am too toughy about things and it is damn near impossible to offend me. Besides, I know not a lot of people like to look at this side of it, but what's bullying to one kid is free speech to another. Physical violence is another story but people love to say that they have the right to not be talked poorly about. Well, by what virtue? Who or what makes you above ecriticism? And what makes it a punishable offense to be rude? Another thing is people bully the bully. It only perpetuates the cycle.
Bullying is just wrong...
But I understand why people do it.
It stems prom a deep pain inside. Or often from abuse at home.
I agree, I just wish the bullying would quit I have already lost 3 friends from suicide...I can't lose another..can't take it..
My school talked about bullying a lot
Maybe by standing up for the person being bullied or tell an adult.
