DO YOU BELIVE IN GOD WHY OR WHY NOT

No I don't, I feel like I just have more of a scientific way of thinking and feel that "God" is not possibly. However, I am undecided whether I believe in heaven or not.

I was put into a Catholic school at a young age because it was convenient, and it offered a good education. As I grew older, I learned about my Jewish heritage and the whole Catholic experience started to make me uncomfortable. I personally prefer the public school experience to the private school, but that's just me. As far as God goes, I don't necessarily believe that there's a guy in the sky who created the universe. It just doesn't click with me. On the other hand, I have no reason to put down those who do believe in Him. It just annoys me when people use God as a way to justify their actions.

this is my opinion. relgion for me, screws things up. just have beliefs, no shoving chrstianity down people throats, no preaching of the end of the world, no eternal damnation for saying whats right. just let everything go. but personally, im not atheist im agnostic. i belive we go somewhere after death, but i dont believe its a fluffy white paradise called heaven.

Personally, I am a very happy atheist.

I don't believe that only one thing could have created, and still controls, the universe.

I do believe that something/s is/are out there, but I am not yet sure why, how or what :)

I know...it's a tad confusing...

I believe that humans control their own future and there is no 'destiny'.

I also believe in an afterlife :) So I guess I am a bit religious after all. :)

I dont like getting into arguments about rel.i.g.io.n so I'll post my result from a quiz i took called "what religion should you be?"

You should be an Athie.s.t.

So it's not really a rel.ig.ion. But that's the whole point.
You don't buy into the whole G.o.d thing... or you just don't care.

You may feel very alone in a world full of rel.ig.io.us people.

But just remember, at.heis.m has a long and rich intellectual history.

In case you were wondering, I am NOT an athi.e.s.t just because a quiz says so. But this is very true about me.

I beleive in God but not exactly in the Christian, Catholic way. I beleive there is a God who is genderless and loving towards all without critisim. I beleive in God because when i look at the world i can't find it possible for there not to be a God. If you take almost any appendage on anything in this earth and divide it by its corrosponding body part it will eqaul 1.18, i just can't find that to be a coincidence.

God is real, completely real, much too my chagrin and he keeps reminding me of that.  It seems like it would be much easier if he wasn't, but then without a law then it scares me to imagine what the world would be like without him.  Still, the irreputable scientific fact points entirely in God's direction, and then in the direction of Jesus Christ.

I beleive in God. I am an evangelist christian and beleive jesus, the son of God, died and rose again on the third day. I believe this because

1. science points to God and Jesus

2. The bible is the most reliable document in all of history. there are more ancient copies of the bible than the Odysey and the iliad.

3. I have felt Jesus, God and the holy spirit in my soul. Once you have felt that you cant not belive in Jesus.

I believe in God. I was put into a catholic school as well as some other people on here & I feel there are far too many coincidences for there not to be a God. I believe that miracles do happen & that all of what we live everyday had to start from somewhere, and the more I look into the religion & learn history about it, the more I believe.

I pray when I really want or need something to happen. I swear with the word "Go.d" or "Je.sus." I get scared when I do something I know is against the Bible. And that's because my parents and grandparents and aunt have hammered the idea of Go.d into me. My confirmation wasn't even my choice! So my anger toward being forced into this belief of God makes me turn away from the idea. And to this idea I look: The cavemen didn't know about God. So did they all go to Hell? I would sooner look to God when I die, assuming that I would meet Him when I die, and say what I truly believe, than agree with God just because I'm scared of His power. So... I guess I'm no athiest, catholic, jew, whatever. I'm an Emiri. I believe in what my heart tells me.

I do believe in God because I understand the Bible and have faith in things unseen (God). I know that God is real and I do not need any more proof than the Bible to convince me and, through a biblical worldview, I view the world and understand (of course not perfectly) why things (both good and bad) happen.

I believe in God and Jesus all the way!

1) Science points to the truth of this. There are multiple examples.

2) Evolution? Nahhh man, do you really think that could have happened?

3) Unless I can be declared medically insane, I have seen and felt proof myself. I have met God. I have met Satan. I choose God.

4) The impossible becoming probable, proven by countless testimonies.

5) The Bible is the most reliable document one could find. It dates back farther and has more copies than any other. And the Bible itself is pretty incredible! How could so many authors, spanned out over hundreds of years, most of which never met, come up with something so incredible? God power, sir!

Well . . . right now I don't think I believe in God. I'm being raised as a Christan, yet there are so many things about religion that don't work for me. Just because you believe in some heavenly being doesn't mean you are better than everyone else. There are so many things about almost any religion that don't make sense. So no, I think I don't believe in God. Right now, I prefer to observe other religions, instead of participating in one.

Okay first I want to point out that if yall are christians and are mad with this post- you are not supposed to get in a heated discusion about religion.

Genya:

Actually there is proof of God's exsistance- its even in the Bible- The world and nature. We don't know everything about Him and we aren't supposed to. Maybe Thor is His real name (I doubt it), There are so many things we call Him, Father, Savior, King of Kings. I do see how it is possible to doubt I wasn't saved until April this year. The Bible is whole proof though. We try to rip through it but the answers are right  there written out  as bright as daylight.

I beleive with all my heart in God. He is the reason I live and breathe. Life has been so good since I found Him. He was always there But I never wanted to look! my very exsistance justifies His!
