I personnally really enjoy anime and anticipate coplaying in the future.
I think that often times people are reluctant to try it because of the fans. I don't mind it but I can see how people screeching 'kawaii' and 'yaoi' can be off putting.
Then again that's simply my opinion. My favourite's fairy tail though. Check it out if you haven't yet.

I <3 anime and manga!!!! cosplay's pretty cool, a lot of them are amazing. I'm not sure about yaoi, like, I'm ok with it (not really intimate stuff) but some of it can be funny and makes sense.
And Fairy Tail? Awesome :)

Okay thanks no one for answering my question.
I'm a Fairy Tail fan too! I've found out that I can't write "fairy tale" without deleting the "fairy tail" I'd written or at least second guessing the spelling. xD I'm planning on making a Fro sweater, so I guess that could be considered cosplay.
