Susan Rice to serve as National Security Adviser

Susan Rice will be named as Tom Donilon's replacement as national security adviser later today in the Rose Garden. This new position  does not require Senate confirmation as it is a position on the White House staff. Samantha Power has been named as Rice's replacement. I love Samantha Power, who served as Senior Director for mulilateral affairs at the NSC. What are your thoughts on this national security shakeup?

Hmmm, can't say I know that much to have an opinion. Could you describe it a bit more? I may actually just go google it now.......

Susan Rice most recently served as US ambassador to the UN. She was named as a possible successor to SecState Hillary Clinton but was heavily criticized over remarks she made following the attacks on the US Consulate in Benghazi. Personally, I think that Susan Rice just delivered talking points she was given. However, I think that the Obama administration knew more than it will acknowledge.
