Okay no offense, but at this point you're totally strawmanning this.
At no point did I suggest blocking racists from voting. I said there should be a basic test on fundamental government knowledge.
I did imply that perhaps the number of people voting for an arbitrary reason without understanding why (racism possibly being included in that) might decrease.
If a racist understand the basics of government and can comprehend what he's doing, have at then my friend!
Okay, I guess I misunderstood you then. Inplications are hard to nail down. :)
All Democrats. And most hard-line Republicans too, for that matter . . .
Yeah, tone is definitely a hard part of writing to master, working on it though! :P
And everybody in Georgia :P
In the Atlanta area maybe. Rest of us is well-informed boters.
. . . voters
"Rest of us is well-informed boters (or voters)..."
I can sense the collective intelligence just oozing off of you. :)
Or anti-voting anarchists... *growls to self*
Or people who aren't the new Teen Ink Moderator.
IT'S WATCHING ME
Its amazing how people take the time to make those pictures. Anyways...... I'm going to answer the thread topic question. This is what the Constitution and its Amendaments say, "Voting rights cannot be denied or abridged based on the following:
Birth(if they are a naturalized citizen or has been born in the U.S. and is therefore a naturalized citizen)
Race, color, or previous servitude
Failure to pay taxes
18 years of age or older"
Based on the above points that is pretty broad range.
I've always been fascinated with ASCII, it's an amazing art form.
Anyways, on topic:
I agree with all the things in the constitution, I just propose we take a step further and implement the idea I proposed in an earlier post in this thread.
P.S: this is Breece6, the name change is in accordance to a joke on a different thread in the P&T forum :)
