I hope everyone who was in Hurricane Sandy is in the process of recovery, it might take a while but it can be done.
Personal story: We lost power from Monday till Tuesday and had no internet. Gas stations are out of gas and packed. Trees fell on houses and are uprooted. Wires fell too. I have not had school, and won't for the week. It did not hit us too hard here but many people are still without power, I'm one of the lucky ones.
Any other opinions or inputs?
I wasn't hit (Utah fortunately doesn't have hurricane trouble very often), but I do feel terrible for everyone who was afftected. It's a huge disaster that couldn't have come at a worse time. We're all praying for you.
That's good to hear that you are safe! Hopefully others are too! :)
Many people like me, living outside of the US will have forgotten about this. Thoughts go to everyone affected by it, even now and for evermore. This really reminds me of how people come together when faced by a single problem, how we are all one group of humanity and how the outstanding stories of bravery are continually demonstrated within the world.
