Hi guys I have been in & out of the hospital since Monday, got admitted on Tuesday, got a unneeded surgery on Thursday and got released today. I am so sore tht it hurts to walk. but the surgery was to see wht is wrong with me and the surgeon said "I think its her appendix so Im gonna open her up and check it out but even if it is not her appendix I am taking it out." This means tht I got my appendix taken out even though it still worked perfectly fine. But while i was under the influence & probably hi outta my mind on the dr.ugs they use to put ya to sleep, the docs found out tht my colon was a little inflamed & I used to have a cyst on my right ovary but it bust so there is scar tissue on it & on my left ovary there is a 4 cm cyst. So Im not even done with doctors yet. Meanin after Im all healed up from tht stupid surgery I have another appt to see abt my ovaries. But I guess there is a good thing abt my surgery: Now I have a legit reason to sit out of gym, LOL
It's really common for doctors to take out the appendix if it's suspected, even if there is nothing wrong with it. For a number of reasons. 1) It's not needed (although it does have some minor function still). 2) If a surgeon sees the scar in future they might think it's already been taken out. 3) It could still cause problems in the future.
Essentially, there's little downside once they've already made the incision if they do, and lots of potential downsides if they don't.
It's unfortunate that you had to go through all the surgery, but it's good that they found something. I hope you recover soon and they figure out the cause of your past illness.
thank u and do u kno a fas way to get rid of bruises... where they did one of the 4 incicisons is still rlly bruised
I don't think there is a way. Your body has to heal from injury on it's own. It's not an illness. Bruises are from damage, so your body needs to repair it.
