Well, I told my mom that I have absolutely no drive, and she asked me if I was depressed. I think maybe, I might be a little, but you know, not enough to have suicidal thoughts... Anyway, I took a depression test online, and it mentioned something called cyclothymia. Apparently, people with cyclothemia go through cycles of depression and hypomania. I have noticed that when I'm not depressed, I am extremely overconfident, yet very irritable towards most people. But then I start getting a little depressed again after a month or so. Is this really cyclothymia? If it is, is there anything I can do without going to a doctor? I hate doctors...
try focusing your mind on something else (hobby, sport, reading, etc) that will help you blow off some energy, make new friends, and stay happy. for example, i run. it helps me get rid of excess energy, i've met loads of people who have the same interests as i do, i met my amazing boyfriend, and i now have a body that im SUPER proud of. running helped me stay happy...you should try it, too. it doesnt sound very nice or fun, but trust me, it's worth it in the end. it doesnt even matter if you're the slowest. just as long as you keep working hard, you will get to your goals. good luck :)
