I'm seriously considering getting a tattoo. Well, multiple tattoos. I have wanted to get a ton of tattoos and piercings for as long as I can remember, but I know that a lot of places don't offer sanitation. I really don't wanna get AIDS because I want a tattoo, but I already have what I want in mind. I really really want it. So yeah.... any advice on that?
Well you need to go to a licensed tattoo parlor if you don't want to get diseases. I have a few homemade "prison" tattoos that I gave myself with a needle, thread and India ink, but my tattoos done by a professional look a lot better. Some things to consider would be the choice of ink, as some inks contain slightly dangerous metals. I'm not really sure of the exact chemical makeup in tattoo inks, but I know most are carbon based and generally safe. Have you decided what design you want yet?
I honestly want a tattoo when I'm older, even though some people think it's all punk and hardcore. My mom has a tattoo of where she met my dad. So yes I want a tattoo eventually. However, with your dilemma, I'm not sure how to help. Sorry :(
