Okay, i'm a tiny bit freaked. I haven't gotten my period for seven weeks, nine if you don't count one that was super light and only lasted a day. I'm 5'4" and 104 pounds  so i don't think it's because i'm too thin, and I'm usually really regular. I'm 13 btw, and have had my period for about a year and a half.

First things first, have you had unprotected sex?

5'4 at 104 is slightly underweight, but not enough to lose your period usually.

Hey, don't panic Erecura! I've had my period for over two years, and about a year ago, I didn't get my period for two months. Then it came, and was normal from then on. My mom says that in the first couple years, your period won't be regular! But it will eventually "level" the times out. So, unless the answer to Heaven's question is "yes", I don't think you need to worry. =)

Heaven: Okay, so, in sixth grade i got ra.ped, but it's been like, three years, so that wouldn't be the cause. Also, I've realized that I'm 102, not 104. Not sure if that makes a differance.

I still don't think that's underweight enough to lose your period, but I don't know. It depends on your body. Ask a doctor I guess, cause I don't really know.

Ok. Well don't panic :) When I was 14, I was under so much stress that I didn't have my period for almost a year :/ My doctor told me its totally normal for a girl to miss a couple cycles if she's under stress.

Do you play sports/exercise a lot? I do long-distance running, and as a result I sometimes go months without getting my period.

People keep saying that it's normal to miss a few in a row, and my doctor said that I should have at least 4 a year. I have never missed a single one.

Okay...my dad's a GYN Oncologist...(I know...gross...he knows more about girl stuff than my mom does!)...and this might be a little bit frightening...but you might have a cist on your ovaries. Yes...gross...but I remember when I didn't get my period for three months, he got me checked to see if I had a cist. Same with my cousin. Luckily, I didn't have one, but she did...and she had to have surgery to remove it...but it's highly unlikely. I thought I'd throw this out there.

You can miss a period if you're really stressed out, cuz your body is just like, "DUDE! I'm not ready for a baby right now." So it could be that...

My sister in law has always had weird periods. She can go months without having any sometimes.

My mom used to have 48 day cycles, which obviously didn't impair her fertility, as I am #7 out of 9...

I get short cycles. >.< I think the average is 28 or something, and mine have been (so far, but they aren't perfectly regular) mostly around 22 days.

Sorry about my earlier comment, I was freaking out about stupid guy issues. My period is super irregular too, and unfortunately, for me, it comes at all the wrong times, like when we go camping, or when we go to wild waves, the first day of school, or when I wear my favorite white jeans, etc. etc. Now I just wear a pad everytime I wear those jeans to avoid being super embarrassed. That probably didnt help you at all though...
