I bleed really heavy when I'm on my period, and I get a weird, sick to my stomach feeling. I asked my mother if I should bleed this much, and she said yes and that there's nothing wrong with me. Does anyone else ever bleed real heavy and get really bad cramps?
Yes, I get the exact same thing! It's so heavy, sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of the night because I have to change my pad. -__- I don't get cramps, TOO badly, but I've known people who've had them so bad that they could barely move. It's perfectly normal, if annoying.
I dont bleed heavy, but i do get cramps during my period and I get very dizzy during my period sometimes
I am EXACTLY THE SAME.
I bleed heavily for awhile, and for the first day or so, my cramps are so bad, I cannot stand or do anything unless I take a pain killer. I also randomly get leg pains, and just feel BAD.
Periods suck, ik :)
i tend to get, like, semi-depressed and overall just extremely, oh whats the word, hormonal, but i don't bleed all too much. i always feel off though, like i feel like i'm on the verge of tears 24/7 or i feel really, really sad. idk i'm just weird like that.
(do i really say like that much?! O.o)
only everyone. you're totalllly normal, it's cool. of course, i havent started yet..but i have friends haha
If you are in so much pain you feel like you can't do things you need to do, then consider the pill. It can lower cramps and lighten/shorten periods. If you don't want to take the pill then a heating pad works wonders too.
If the cramps are really bad and it's that heavy you should go see your doctor and they'll probably put you on birth control which shouls make it a lot lighter and not gurt so much :)
totaly the same my doctor had to give me a special pain killer that works better than an over the counter one
yes i bleed EXTREMELY heavy, and i have cramps so bad that i start throwing up and have had to go to the hospital for it more times than i will admit to. They put me on birth control to help with it but it doesn't. There was actually a reason behind mine tho...i have cists on my ovaries.
you should be totally fine, it varies a lot from girl to girl, don't worry.
Does anyone else have to sleep on their side because their pad doesn't reach back far enough?
I always sleep in my side anyway, so I wouldn't know.
My mom said when she first started having them, it hurt a lot and her doctor gave her all sorts of excersizes that didn't really work. He told her that they'd get better after she had a baby (no, I am NOT advising you to go get pre.ggers). But she was thirteen at the time, so the wait was a while. ;D
it's totally normal for some girls to bleed heavily! our bodies are different :) but i hear that excericising regularly can help the bleeding to not be as heavy
Take some Tylenol for the cramps.....it helps a lot :)
I mentioned last night that I'm only having 18-24 day cycles most of the time, and now she's loading me with vitamins. -_-
My last period sucked a bit. I kind of, uh, leaked in the middle of the night, so the next morning I had to rinse out my pants and underwear, AND in the shower I cut myself shaving for the first time and didn't notice until I'd bled all over the towel and the floor. >.< And then, to top off that mess, my old cat peed on my bed. *sigh* Lucky me. :p
