Favorite Quote:
"Life isn't about how popular you are... What girl or boy you are dating or who you know. Life is about always being true to who you are or what you believe in. Never let anyone convince you that their way is better than your way. In the end all we have is our hearts...and our minds. This is the reason why we sing... this is the reason why we cry... this is why we live."

Chapter Five

Shadow glanced at Lilac and Rose. “I’m scared.” Lilac whispered. They looked at each other; they knew what would happen before it did. “Do we die tonight?” Shadow murmured. “No we can’t! Just wait.” Rose said. The three girls started talking about anything to keep their minds off of what they thought was going to happen. The closet door creaked open on its own. Iridescent purple eyes glared. “You see that to right?” Shadow asked them. “Well my back is turned so I can’t, duh!” Lilac replied. At that moment the closet shut as if the eyes were messing with them. Several minutes passed and Lilac yawned. “I’m tired and I don’t care what happens because if the idiots won’t show themselves then they’re not going to hurt us.” Lilac curled up and went to sleep quickly.

Later that night all three girls were taken somewhere as they slept. Shadow was the first to wake in the meadow. “Where are we?” she whispered. She crawled over wake up Lilac and Rose. “Lilac, you’re rational; are we dreaming?” “No, why would we all have the same dream?” she replied. Lilac slowly sat up. The surroundings were a lot like the woods by her house but at night they looked so strange. The meadow they sat in was so vibrantly green and positioned directly under the full moon. “Hello,” came a voice from the edge of the meadow, “I see you’re awake.” The voice was familiar in some way. The deep gravelly voice called for Shadow. “Not until I see what you are!” She called back. A man stepped out of the shadows. He looked about fourteen or fifteen, and was about five foot nine. His hair was raven black and he wore black skinny jeans and a black tee-shirt with blood red writing. “I’m Ash.” He said as he opened his deep red eyes.
