the words that you write for yourself are so much more better then the words you write for others

(The scene opens with the monkey hanging from a tree limb and the daisy on the ground)

DAISY
(To MONKEY) what are you doing up there?

MONKEY
Hanging on for my life!!!(He exclaims)

DAISY
Well how did you get stuck up there?

MONKEY
I was hungry so I climbed to the end of this limb so that I could get those bananas.

DAISY
Those bananas? The ones in the bundle there? (Points using a petal)

MONKEY
Yes that bundle (limb begins to crack slowly)

DAISY

You bundle?

MONKEY

Every monkey bundles! (Stomach growling)

DAISY
I’d help you, but my roots are tied you see?

(Attempts to pull her self out of the ground)

MONKEY Don’t do that you’ll hurt yourself!
(The limb breaks and MONKEY falls onto DAISY, there is a loud thud that is heard through out the forest and all of the animals immediately stop what they are doing)

MONKEY
DAISY? DAISY! Where are you? You were just here a minute ago!
(MONKEY rolls to his side and realizes that he had fell onto DAISY)

MONKEY
Oh no! What have I done?
(the animals of the forest all gather in a circle as monkey sits holding
DAISY in his hands as tears are welling up in his eyes)
THE LIGHTS GO BLACK
END SCENE
