The Judge

Jack looked taken aback, as if he didn't know a thing. "That stupid contract of yours! 'You will get out of the training building faster if you work'. You liar!" I yelled at him as I stumbled down the hallway. As soon as I reached where he was standing I punched him on his lower chest and knocked the wind out of him. "Ouch. What do you mean? I never said anything like that! I said 'you will learn more if you work instead of train'." Jack told me in return. "You did not. Now I have gotten bumped down to a Seeker. A list of at least twenty people. 10 of them were people who requested because some other idiot let them find out!" I screamed in his face. "Okay, chill. You only have to do seven or more if you want to bump your rank back up. It's not that hard anyway. All you have to do is travel over to where they are at, do surveillance, and if they're not qualified you can simply move on to your next target." Jack said as if it were not a big deal. Sure, so maybe to him it wasn't a big deal, but to me, it was like saying it would be another five years before I got out of the building. "What if they are qualified? I could just dq everyone and say that none of them have the skill you know." I started to let my temperature cool down and calm down. Sarcasm was what I believed was the only way out of this situation.
"Uhh...well, you would train them." I couldn't help it. Jack had driven me insane before, and neither of us had turned out well in the end. Jack was in containment and I was sentenced to a 'vacation' in Hawaii. So Hawaii is supposed to be an awesome place, not if you are doing surveillance on five different people as a punichment. "You dare ever doing anything like that again and I really will have your head for it." I told him with such crudeness in my voice I beleived myself. Jack smirked and turned around. "This isn't over Jack!" I yelled after him. On my way I left the building to my first find.
