I blinked. My mind clouded and I wasn't thinking straight. He moved but it was superspeed! He was a blur, a flash as he came to the table and looked down at the book. I stood statue still.
"Aquawitch?" he asked, although already knowing. I just stared at him.

"What's wrong?" he asked with a smirk."Goddess got your tongue?"
Caitlyn, you look like an idiot! I screamed at myself. I breathed and focused.
"Who are you and how did you get in here?" I demanded, my voice was strong sounding. He didn't answer, but looked me over. I felt my cheeks burn but held my head high, green eyes glaring.

"That's not important. What's important is you keeping our little secret."
Our secret? what the hell was he talking about?

"What?" I said smartly. Nice one, stupid.
"You never saw me, I was never here, got it?" He took a step closer to me and I backed up a step. He watched me more closely.
"Who are you?" I asked again.

"My names Amun." he took another step, his eyes never left mine. I took another step back but fell into a chair. Why was I so stupid? Now I'm cornered! He closed the space between us, standing in front of me with his arms crossed. He continued,
"You saw me earlier, outside. How did you see me?"

"What do you mean, all you have to do is look to see somebody." I snapped at him. He stared.
"Who are you?" he asked.
"Caitlyn Harlow, I'm an aquawitch." I heard myself say.

"And a first year, I'm guessing by the lack of attention span to your water." he glanced at the puddle on the floor. He was suddenly a blur again then a second later he was setting backwards ina chair, resting his arms over the back and staring at me. I just had to come to the lebrary today out of all out of bed night.

"You can relax," he snorted. "I'm not going to hurt you." he pushed his black hair away from his face. Was that what I was worried about? I felt myself relax and I took a deep breath.
"If you don't want me to say anything, you have to tell me why your here." I said.

"I'm obviously looking for a book." his eyes scanned my face. "Maybe you can help me?"

"And why would I do that?" I said.
"You also obviously don't know what I am yet. How much power I have or that I could kill you before you even knew I did." he muttered. I shivered slightly, did he really?

"You see Caitlyn, I'll need your help and in return I won't kill you. I'm not allowed here and you are...so, I'm going to need you to find this book for me. It has no title, it has no author, but this Book is known as The Book of Shadows," I could tell by the way he was talking about it that he had been looking for it for awhile now.
"It changes it's text as changes the reader who takes in it's knowledge. The book changes to meet each reader's specific needs. I wish to have it, find it for me." he got up and put the chair back.
"Wait," I said standing also. "How would I know what it looks like?"

"It's different for everyone. You'll know because the contents will contain all your wanted knowledge from your wildest dreams."
"And why do you this book?"
"That is none of your concern." he said.
"Actually, it is. I don't know what your up to it could be Dark Arts." I argued. He smiled, shaking his head. He took a book off the shelf and handed it to me.
"Read this." he said, stacking it on top of my Aquawitch book. "It will answer your question."
I went over and picked it up reading the title..

Vampires of the MOdern Age

"Your a," I looked up but he was gone.
