No doubts

“What’s the matter with you?” she cried out.
“What’s the matter with me? I feel like I’m not good enough for you! That’s what the matter with me is!”
“What are you talking about? You are more than enough.”
“Really. Why do you love me?”
“You want to know why I love you.” she acknowledged, surprised.
He nodded vehemently. “Yes, I do.”
“Okay, are you ready? Because there are a million reasons why. First of all you’re hot.” she teased. “And you’re sweet. That’s the most irresistible combination ever. You’re thoughtful and you genuinely care about me. You don’t mind hearing me complain even when it’s about you. You have no idea what my heart does every time you’re near me. If you ask my friends, they’ll tell you that I’ve been the happiest girl in the world since I met you. Nothing’s too hard if I have you by my side. I love how comfortable it is between us and how we well we know each other. I’m used to your scent, your smile, your laughter. And I’m constantly terrified of the idea of ever losing you because I know that I’ll never be as happy with anyone else as I am with you.”
“I appreciate it.” he said.
She smiled. “You better. I had to think of that on the spot.”
He walked towards her. “Well, it was pretty fantastic. And you made me realize something.”
“What?”
He wrapped his arms around her waist. “How madly in love I am with you and I can’t believe I ever doubted that.”
“You had me pretty scared.” she chuckled, hugging him to her.
“Marry me,” he whispered.
“What?” With a hand on his chest she pushed him slightly back and looked into his eyes.
“Marry me. I’m not trying to put you on the spot or anything but think about it. We’ll never find anyone more perfect for ourselves. It’s not as simple as you love me and I love you. We have more than that. We’re soul mates, as cliché as that sounds. I never though I’d find someone who would understand me as well as you do and now that I’ve found you, how do you expect me to just stand here listening to you say you love me and not want to marry you and spend the rest of this lifetime with you. Just think about it.”
“I don’t need to think about it.”
“Will you marry me?”
“Yes.”
