He walked her through the museum where they first met. “Do you remember this place?”
He saw her nod.
He took her to the park where he had proposed. “And this place?”
Again, she nodded.
He drove her across the bridge where she spent her last moments. “What about here?”
Silence.
Suddenly, he was alone.
