You Should Go For Someone Better

“Ugh, it’s him again.” said Charlotte all disgusted.
“I wouldn’t say that,” said Olivia defending him.
“Why not,”
“I think I have a crush on him”
“Olivia, you could do so much better,” said Charlotte disappointed.
“Oh, please” said Olivia rolling her eyes.
“I’m serious, Olivia.”

“You should go for someone better. He only talked to you because you were there. He showed you kindness one day and now you think you have a crush. You should go for someone better, someone who will actually care about you. Someone who wouldn’t talk to you one day and ignore you the next. You shouldn’t go for someone who talks about other girls in front of you and you have to pretend that you don’t care and pretend you don’t have feelings about what he says. You should go for someone you can have an actual conversation with, not just about something silly like video games and boyish things, a real conversation with real feelings. Give it a try, go for him and he’ll probably see you as nothing more than a friend. You’ll be a little disappointed but that doesn’t stop you from trying. Pretty soon he will be all you think about. Other people will start to notice you but all you notice is him. You are so desperate to be with him you don’t ever stop to realize he will never be yours. When you do realize this, you tear up but that still won’t stop you from going for him.
When you see other girls talk to him you start to get a tingly feeling. You’re jealous like he’s your boyfriend and there’s something you can do about it. You hold all of your feelings inside and you don’t tell anybody. It kills you that you can’t tell anybody not even him, no one would understand how you feel. You should go for somebody better because you’ll keep all of your feelings to yourself. Go for somebody better because you’ll make a fool of yourself just to speak to him. When you finally realize you never had a chance and how stupid you were. You notice how much of a jerk he is. You want nothing to do with him because you have now grown a hate for him. You stop talking about him but you don’t stop thinking about him. You tell yourself that you hate him and he’s not worth it. You tell yourself that he’s not worth your
time or your stress. You could do so much better”.
“Why would you think all of this through? You’re just thinking for the worst, Charlotte.” asked Olivia.
“I’m just trying to protect you, Olivia. I loved him too.”
