The raids from Mexican forces led by Pancho Villa became too much.  So the United States sent in military troops, some of these troops were led by a young captain George S. Patton.

“It is almost impossible for a military to take down a small guerrilla force, this has been impossible throughout the history of warfare,” says a private fresh from the academy.  Patton scowls at the private and says “then we need to innovate warfare.”  Patton then proceeds to mount a machine gun onto a Dodge touring car.

Days later, Patton led the United States’s first ever motorized military operation on one of Pancho Villa's lieutenants.  Afterwards, he received praise from his superior, was promoted, and was given the nickname the “bandit killer.”
