I opened my eyes and was met with your emerald ones.
You smiled.
My hearts raced
I kiss your face with longing.
But tears hit my cheeks.
Your eyes water, and you slowly vanished.
My body jolted.
My eyes desperately searched for you.
Your side was empty.
My heart cracked, heartstrings stretched breaking one by one,
my tears fell.
I reminisced  about you and our time.
Times the pills tried to make me forget.

I thought about you day and night.
I thought of mornings when I fought to wake you for work,
The smell of your cooking.
Nights when when sleep never came to you,
We’d lay in the dark the moon our only light,
Talking about our future, hopes and dreams.
The shrink wants to take them away.

Our first fight.
To first kiss
When I first felt jealousy.
I laughed with continuous tears,
Remembering the way your lips turned into a pout,
Or the way you scrunch your brows

I begged on my knees for you forgiveness.
I told you how could I love another when I loved you dear.
The thought of you with someone else shattered my whole being.

To us humming and holding each other tight in the hospital room.

Was death, better than spending a forever with me.
Deep down I know it’s not true.

Shoving the pills in my mouth.
