I was in Harlan county, Kentucky, trying to find her. No, I'm not a ghost buster, just a every day girl who is trying to tell if she is real. Who, you may ask? The headless girl named Annie. I've read her legend so many times. I just want to meet her. I saw Annie. She was just as the people described her to be. A pale girl who has no head in a nightgown.

Annie spooked at the sight of me. I said,"I'm so sorry for scaring you." Annie moved her hands like any headless ghost would do when he or she has no head. "Let me help you find your head. I think it's in the mine shaft." I said.

Annie nodded and led me to the mine shaft. I carefully went inside. I was looking around as I jumped down. Then I saw Annie's head. I walked up and picked it up. " who are you?" Annie said. "I'm Morgan. I'm going to return you to your body." I said as I climbed back up.

Annie was happy to have her head back. Soon we became best friends.

I was inspired by the legend of Headless Annie to continue her story.
