prologue to the final countdown

The year 3019, the war has finished and things were starting to look up for us here on planet omega 36' Except that most of our technological equipment got destroyed in the nuclear blasts near the end of the battle. A select group of scientists, myself one of them, are currently in the city now known as Terminus Hive trying to find a way to get some of our systems back online.
