Candles

Candles stand straight and tall. Their colors are bright and beautiful among the frosting, covering their toes. They stand for granting wishes, for putting hope in the hearts of girls and boys. Candles are creative and fun, but can't last for ever.
The flames that burn on top of a candle soon goes out. Now the only thing left is smoke. Smoke to leave behind the faint memory of your wish, which you wait to come true. Soon the memory fades, and the candles have failed. Soon you move on, a candle can't last forever.
