I cried so long, so alone
I cried there in the dark, but you were there
I didn’t understand what you said,
But I didn’t have to; your eye’s said it all
You are the only one that understood
You aren’t like me, but I love you
You’re the only dark thing in my life that is light
And when you leave me, I don’t know what I’ll do
