Time Seems to Stop
I don’t know how I got into this dark black room. I feel content, at home. The dark rusty red delilahs dancing around my feet make me feel like a little kid again. I hear them whispering to me. They tell me to breathe. Inhale...exhale...inhale...exhale. I hear the door open, but can’t see the light. They tell me they’re coming for me. Run. The floor drops out from under me. I’m falling. Falling...falling...falling. I look up and i see the bright yellow daisies. They’re screaming my name. Time seems to stop. Everything is still. All I see is black. The dark black room is engulfing me. I can’t breathe. Inhale.. Exhale.
