Mysterious Maria: A Short Descriptive Piece

She sashayed into the room as though shse owned it, her long, glassy black hair swishing down her back. She narrowed her black almond shaped eyes at the dog, who snapped at her. Quick as a wink, she darted out of the way, pausing only long enough to pet the cat. What was this evil beauty's name? Maria Valdez, and she was in my house for reasons I could not comprehend.
