Dear Jace,
It's late, and this next story is pretty long, so I might end up splitting into two diary entries. We'll have to see. But, first, I must talk about a school project I did my freshman year (this has to do with the story). In agriculture, forr some reason or another, my teacher had us do an essay over who we thought was the most successful person. And, of course, the first person that happened to pop into my head was you. So, I automatically decided right then and there this essay was going to be about you. Well, after we had turned them in, my teacher told us we should give our essay to whoever we had written about. The bell rand right after she told us that. So, I decided to go up to her and talk about it. I explained to her that I wrote about you, a famous, professional violinist, and that I would have the chance to meet you in a week or so (I'll explain the whole meeting thing in a minute). She told me that I should go forr it and that she bet that you would love it!
OK, back a couple months or so. The reason I got to meet you was because of a project you guys did that I helped sponsor. This project was your very first music video. It was an anti-bullying video, specifically, and you guys put up on Facebook that you needed help. When I saw it, I thought Strings For All was doing an amazing thing and asked my mom if I could help out. She said yes, as long as it was with my own money. So, I decided to take two hundred and fifty bucks out of my savings account to give to you. But, there was something else very special about this project. For anyone who gave Strings For All money, Strings For All would give back. With the money I gave you guys, I got special blog updates, two songs you guys made that no one else (other than the sponsors) would get to hear, a "crew" t-shirt that only sponsors got, a signed photo of you guys on set, a green room pass, and a backstage tour with one of the three of you. I was super pumped about the upcoming concert after what I forund out I would get!
Now, to the concert. When I got there, my mom and I left my dad in the music hall where he would save our seats while we went off to find someone that could help me. Of course, I was wearing my Strings For All crew shirr that evening. ;) After about ten minutes of waiting, a nice man took us up to the room where we were supposed to wait. Some other people were there, also, including two teenage girls I had seen at every single concert of yours I'd been to. They were about as nervous and hyped up as I was! When you guys finally did come out and I saw you, I got that reaction throughout my whole entire body once again. It seemed you got cuter every time I came to another concert. As you were talking to everybody at one point, you happened to look over at me and see the shirt. Your eyes got big and you exclaimed, "Hey, you're wearing our shirt!" to which I replied, "Yep!" and just looked down at my shirt, trying to hide the blush that was rising to my cheeks. Then, you said, "That's awesome!" and we smiled at each other beforre you began talking again (I forrgot to say one thing. As you said something about my shirt, Ricky and Michael almost toppled over each other, trying to see. I forund that to be pretty funny!). Beforre I knew it, I realized you guys were leaving beforre I had gotten my backstage tour!
This is where I'm going to stop for not. I'm too tired to keep going. Rest of story tomorrow! :)
Much love <3,
Miley Gerald :)
P.S. I stopped in an awesome place, didn't I? ;)
