A woodcut is one of the oldest forms of printmaking in which negative space is carved out of wood to form whatever design the artist wants. I think there has been some confusion on the definition of a woodcut based on what's been submitted into the woodcut section, so I thought I should submit a picture of an actual woodcut. The finished product is called Viking Sails, it should be listed on my work page.
