I wanted to contrast the harsh, eroding metal with the softer human complextion. Here, my assistant has hung metal rings in front of the model in order to get this shot. Model is Emily R.

You achieved exactly what you wanted to. The contrast is amazing. I love the lighting, too. The green eye looks great and is a great focal point that then draws the focus out to the rest of the picture.
