First dentistry was painless.
Then bicycles were chainless,
Carriages were horseless,
And many laws enforceless.

Next cookery was fireless,
Telegraphy was wireless,
Cigars were nicotineless,
And coffee caffeineless.

Soon oranges were seedless,
The putting green was weedless,
The college boy was hatless,
The proper diet fatless.

New motor roads are dustless,
The latest steel is rustless,
Our tennis courts are sodless,
Our new religion — godless.

This was not a tattoo design , as everyone seems to think, but it was just me practicing with Sharpie and red ink. There is a strange attraction in blood, especially when symbolic, for me, and i wanted to make a piece that would capture that symbolism. Without blood being spilled, there can be no forgiveness. Without a type of sacrifice, there is no redemption.

time is what keeps things from happening at once.
i will show you fear in a hand full of dust.

I love this piece, it blew my mind. I understand where you were going and how the symolisism of the sacrifice and pain for redemption is needed. awesome job
