This is one of my vert first charcoal pieces. On gray paper, I used both the chiaroscuro and subtractive techniques to create this piece. I have always had a passion for art but my talent for it has a been a more recent discovery and I am working towards someday making a career out of it.

this is an excellent piece of artwork. Charcoal can be so hard to create lifelike images. This looks like a lback and white photo. Great sense of light.
