All I can say is that this is absolutely stunning for an artist... and unbelievable for a teenage one. Unlike the fellow below me, I see a specific look in his eyes: the convincing resignation.

I'm surprised your able to take criticism so well, i was only stating the opinion that instead of showing conviction your model seamed void of any emotion. thank you for being so civil, this is not an attack on your art at all.

Thank you very much for your appreciation. With this piece I tried to steer away from a cliche image of a person hanging themselves. I wanted to illustrate the emotion and readiness of the victim to complete the act.

the detail on the hand and rope are amazing, but the eyes are lacking the intensity of a man who plans on hanging himself. i see less suicidal man and more of one who is flipping through dismal tv stations.

 

not saying this applys to the rest of it. i really do think you are talented.
