Teen Ink Blogs

Slip between the cracks
Enfold yourself within the nooks
Like so many grains of dirt: your neighbors.
Bask in the shadow of the combat boots
And marvel at the piercings;
displaced holes in their hearts.
Tattoos - markers,
helping them find their way back.
Frolic in the smoke, and join the pulsing throng.
Shrill melodies echo in your ears.
Your first spiked bracelet;
Welcome to the club. Called
Downward Spiral
A less glamorous way to fall,
sans polos and palm pilots
