By Shana S., Haslett, MI

Blinker - turning left, I get the sudden feeling - I miss you.
It's the songs on the radio and the wind in my hair that remind me.
As I am going down the highway, it feels like you're with me.
Fragments of glass and plastic litter the side of the road,
a defunct memoir of your last moments.
Sometimes when the cold November wind sings to me, I have Kevin days.
