I have all my epiphanies in my one special place,
it’s not too dirty, it’s where I wash my face
The shower can bring out an innermost thought,
for they come on their own and can never be caught.
They say that truth can only be found from within,
so what better time to look than when you’re wearing just your skin.
It takes a naked body to see a naked truth
and it takes that naked time to bring us back our youth.
I remember things were clearer when I was all but three,
but now, only in the shower can I begin to feel that free.
So go! and take a shower, and absolve yourself of your sins
and you will see that, in the shower, is where the truth begins
