   Do you want to dance?

The words echo and re-echo through my head

as I take your hand and move onto the floor.

I feel your arms around me,

the tender warmth of your body,

the steady rhythm of your breathing,

I think I love you.

I have longed for your touch for so long.

I want to feel your kiss on my forehead.

I want to feel your arms around me forever.

I think I love you.

The dance ends, and you slip away,

out of my embrace, never to know how I feel.

I think I love you...
