I would defy my mother,
And catch lightningbugs,
Always being restless,
Always playing with slugs,
I would run forfun,
And go to Grandma's house,
Lost eight teeth,
And spilt punch on myblouse,
Dancing for relatives,
And always picking my nose,
When I'm hotand cranky,
Spray me down with a hose,
I'd fall down in thecement,
Causing skinned knees,
And scream and cry,
After being stung bya swarm of bees,
Always biting my nails,
Never brushing my hair,
Tagyou're it!
Showing boys my underwear,
I would spill everything,
Whilebaking the cake,
And run head-first, naked,
Into grandma's lake,
I wouldcount down to birthdays,
And then jump in the air,
Laugh atcartoons,
Play truth or dare,
I'd steal everything,
Especially my mom'skeys,
Or laugh with delight,
After climbing a tree,
Play freezetag,
Or hide-and-go-seek,
Squirm in my chair,
After my mother tickled myfeet,
Go on an adventure,
To my favorite swing,
Eat and crunchsand,
Winnie the Pooh songs I'd sing,
If I didn't get my way,
I'd crawlto my mom and cry,
She would hold and rock me,
And sing me alullaby,
All these things I've done and can say,
Been there, done that,before Pre-K.
