By Tyler H., Rootstown, OH

“Long Division” by Christine D. made me realize that my life is moving too fast. It dawned on me that I’m a junior but can remember what it was like to be in elementary school as if it were yesterday. Three recesses a day and never working too hard on homework ... life was great.

I have been stressed in high school, but one day I will look back and think, Wow, those were the days. It will be exactly the way I now think about elementary school.

Life is hard and will only get harder as I mature. Life is like a river and if I don’t swim, the river of life will wash me away. I thank you for including this article. It really clarified things for me.
