By Brianna S., Glendale, AZ

Emily G., author of “After-School Jobs,” makes a great point. I, too, believe that we should be able to have jobs to help us manage our time better. My mom won’t let me get a job because she does not think that I can handle it, but when I ask her for money, she gets mad. How can I pay for things if I don’t have a job? Even though jobs are a big responsibility, they will help you in the future.
