      The river trickles softly,
quietly,                     harmlesly,

    flowing over rocks
                    their only obstacle.
    The fall reaches nearer
the fall               suddenfall.
    it drops, drops, like
        something I know
    but something I can't think of.
     Thewater, which used to be together, separates,
   reachingout, stretching out
with white foamyarms.

  Then crash, seperating, but together ...
