Contest Prizes
Contest winners are selected throughout the year. Previous celebrity
interviews include Pedro Martinez, Gen. Colin Powell, Maya Angelou, R.L. Stine, George Lucas, Whoopi Goldberg, Senator John Glenn, Andrew Shue, Hillary Clinton and
Rev. Jesse Jackson. Tony Hawk. Upcoming celebrity interviews include Alicia Keys, Martin Sheen and others.
Interviews are featured monthly in Teen Ink magazine and online, where you can also see
previous celebrity interviews.
Contest Guidelines
Teen Ink will only consider interviews in question and answer form conducted and written by teens.
You do not have to interview a famous person to win. Choose a grandparent,
neighbor or anyone else who interests you! The important thing is that your
interview contains interesting questions and answers.
Interviews must be in a Question & Answer format and should be
between 500 and 2,500 words. Remember to ask thought-provoking questions
and be sure the answers are accurate quotations. Include a photo of your subject, if possible.

Deadlines
There are no deadlines; entries are accepted and published in Teen Ink magazine and online throughout the year. All entries are automatically
