Teen Ink Blogs

By Austin Y., Charlotte, NC

Imagine:
A Hippie Bus,
of nice mold green
With Viking Horns
mounted above both
front windows.
Brown shag carpet
on the ceilings
walls and floor.
Black lights under
the seats that
create an
other worldly feel.
The seats
are La-Z-Boy
recliners
with a mini-fridge each
in the left arm of the chair.
The seats pivot
360 degrees.
Free Spinner, chrome-
plated hubcaps.
Hydraulics to make the
front and back end bounce.
A sound system consisting
of speakers in the car,
and a type of megaphone
like the police have
on top of the car.
This is so that I can
broadcast Richard Wagner’s
“Ride of the Valkyries”
every time I pull
into and out of
a parking lot, for
everyone to hear.
I will have a
“La Cucaracha”
horn and stenciled on the front
in manila letters:
Big Bertha.
