Help spread the word of Teen Ink's Videos to End Bullying by sharing videos on Twitter and Facebook.
When you share a video, tag your post with #VideosToEndBullying. By using this hashtag, we will all join forces to create global visibility for our campaign to end bullying!
Over the past few years, many of you have submitted articles about your experiences with bullying. We have been moved by all the stories we read, so we are now starting a national anti-bullying video campaign - one that we think might prevent abuse, humiliation and maybe even save some lives. We would like you to become involved!
This September we are releasing our latest book, "Bullying Under Attack - True Stories Written by Teen Victims, Bullies and Bystanders" and we want to do all we can to reach out to everyone who sent us their story. While we could not publish all the stories in the book, we really want to post your story online in video format so you can tell the world what you have experienced. We hope you will join us now and help make a difference.
So please send us a video testimonial about your bullying experience. You don't have to do anything fancy, just record your story, standing or sitting, and keep it to under 5 minutes, if possible.
You can upload your clip to YouTube. Make sure to tag your video "Teen Ink's Videos to End Bullying" and add "- Teen Ink's Videos to End Bullying" at the end of your video's title. After you have uploaded your video to YouTube, please submit it to TeenInk.com, and select "Bullying" as the type of video.
By posting your video on our website and our dedicated YouTube channel, your story will reach a large audience and could have a positive effect on millions of young people.
We are starting this campaign immediately, so please send your video story now, or by September 15th at the latest. With your video story, we'll have a powerful website to share for National Bullying Month this October. We're expecting that the media might be interested in this campaign, so if you are also willing to speak up on our behalf in a possible radio, TV, print or blog interview, please let us know.
Teens just like you have already submitted videos about their bullying experiences. Click here to see the videos that we have so far.
When you have posted your video, or if you have any questions, please call 800-363-1986 or email email@example.com. Together we can make a difference and help change the lives of those who have been caught up in this terrible spiral of bullying.
P.S. If you know any friends who have been a victim, bully or bystander, please encourage them to post their video story too.
